Model is Carly Champagne
This was created using a technique described here: [link]
There's a slight shift in her position because someone else who was in the studio told a very funny joke about 3/4 of the way through.
Fantastic.. we use a similar technique to create 3d scans. We have 30 - 50 cameras set up around the model, take a simultaneous shot and put them together to create a 3d mesh
That looks awesome... It makes me think of a tie in with another interest of mine ... video games/virtualization... I have always wanted to see/design a combat video game where its like a virtual "bitch fight"... Sounds crass i know but the 2 genres nudity and video games are both enormously lucrative and looking at an image like this makes one think of the possibilities... Of course you would need to have your model do all the combat moves (around 30 or so) in every direction and in about as many stages again of dress... it would be a mammoth undertaking... I won't elaborate as your probably already bored but that does look rather stunning....
P.s just saw some of your stereo images... this animated image would be awesome in stereo...
But I guess the ones with the most depth of field are obviously the most stunning/best candidates for this process (the figure on all fours etc)... but i have to say I found it a bit frustrating that the resultant stereos image was so small... But don't get me wrong they are very cool....kudos....
And it got me thinking a much larger image like this one, with the added dimension of animation would be double awesome... obviously with a portrait orientation like this one would be best to maximize the size... as this almost trebling in size would give you enough depth to make the 3d stunning and coupled with the rotation... mind blowing... anyway... like your work....
oh.. back to the point..... the video game thing.... No I don't think so as even though my game concept in-visions high quality graphics (EXACTLY like what you have in this deviation in fact) and could very well be rendered in stereo.... it would not be a 3d game... Ie more like your old style arcade games.... flat 2d game play... The whole concept being that it is so realistic... no-one wants to see nuded manikins or avatar style leggo people... or even if the 3d models are very high res.. they still dont model flesh... ie they may look realistic statically but in motion... never... (sorry for the long post... cheers)
full res? jeez... I can't even imagine that anymore. When I was a photo major, we only touched on these QT stuff... but since photography didn't pan out for me, I only do it as a hobby... and I try to avoid too much postwork unless I get paid, lol (I'm jusy lazy)
keep up the good work, there are a lot who appreciate the art...
