It's been a while since I posted one of these. I used to shoot with Elkie a lot back in 1997/8 when I lived in the Maryland area and she had just started modelling. She came out of retirement for a while this spring and I managed to get her into the studio and catch up a bit.
Her indignant facial expression is what I like about this shot.
Okay, I sound like one of those sh*t-munchers from 4Chan but... Where's the collumn from? I mean it, serriously... I've been looking for this sort of thing for aaaagggeeesss..!
I got it at a yard sale in San Francisco about a zillion years ago.
Beautiful, splendid, she has a body to die for
A very graceful shot

Great shot Marc ... Haven't seen much from you this past summer and It's good to see this here.
I was missing your "column" artpieces^^. Glad to see it again! I like a lot the poses with this column!
Beautiful lighting and such a soft expression on the model.
Great use of the photo studio prop(it's generally "cliche"!!!!
she is a very pretty model. If only I had the magical column that attracts such models.
They come for the stacks of $20 bills I offer, but they stay for the column.
Allways beautiful, Marcus! I love your work
Really glad Elkie came out of retirement and shot with you again. This is so beautiful!
I love the way how, when you stare at this picture long enough, the woman and the column melt into one, really beautuful mix of lights and shadows, lines and shapes. She arches her back so...gracefully.
She has a great sense for balance!
Retirement?! Why on earth would someone that beautiful retire from modeling?! And you can tell her I asked! Honestly, it's a beautiful shot with a beautiful woman, and I'm happy to see more from you again!
The detail on her back and left side of the column, far from the light, is amazing. Beautiful work.
marvellous shot, model, realization.
whooaa.. 10 years on and she still looks fine
I like the lighting and most of the pose except that it makes her chest look a little odd. Maybe it's just me, but it almost works like an optical illusion, making her seem like her upper body is facing completely sideways... but not. Her expression is really nicely captured though. Hell. Who am I to critique? Awesome shot
