I was talking with a friend about photographing corsets (how to best represent them visually, etc) for a website. And, since I had a model coming who can tight-lace I thought it'd be good to do an experiment or two. In this case I wanted to contrast the amplified corset-curves with the linears in the column. It's not a good shot for a commercial purpose, though, because you really can't get any appreciation for the details in the corset.
Lighting: gridded spot on backdrop, large octodome camera right.
I agree, not great for commercial (unless you were selling the stone columns, now THAT would be a heck of an ad), but a gorgeous shot otherwise.
And wow!! That waistline is insane. Congrats to her for having such discipline while still being an obviously healthy female. Those are some of the most beautiful curves I've ever seen.

It's not how good a piece is that determines whether it's good or not; it's the heart and passion that one puts into it. I would rather see art that's not so good but full of heart than a piece that is amazing but was considered a burden for the creator.
