Artist's Comments
The fantasy dancer is a theme that I keep coming back to. In fact, I was talking to my first girlfriend - who reminded me that back in 1979 I learned to sew and made her a fantasy dancer outfit. I guess I like the concept. This is the "khadjia" outfit from Moresca ( [link] ) - makers of truly awesome garb for ren faires and just dressing up funny. They also made my "death robe" that I wore in "the grim weedwhacker"
The model, of course, is the magificent Zinn. Lighting is a large octodome to camera right and a very slight bounce from a white foam-core sheet to camera left. (Because of the content of this image, I feel obligated to mention: this is NOT stock. Please do not use this for photomanipulations. I will be posting some shots of Kerri in the Khadjia outfit, but Zinn does not like being used for stock) |
