Model and makeup:
 To clone Vermeer's lighting required a more elaborate approach than I usually use. I've posted an annotated photo of the lighting set-up here: [link] There is hardly any photoshop post-work beyond dust speck removal. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. btw, putting the word stock in the deviation0s description or title makes it appear in the search when deviants use it with the keyword stock. so... maybe, if I were you I'd use your icon instead of the words!

Of course, maybe it's not a bad way to get more page-views. On the other hand, it means more idiots who just grab images without reading the copyright information. It's pretty irritating how much they complain when I try to tell them that, no, I didn't want animated sparklies on the model; if I did I'd have put them there myself.
