PS - I apologize for the cut-and-paste - all a part of time management
the positioning of her right leg kind of bothers me, but that might just be my foot phobia.
I think you should experiment with crazier lighting and outside sets though. To be honest, individually your pieces are amazing, but, um, enough with the softboxes? Maybe have a really dark room with just a faint, faint glow positioned slightly behind/above the model so that it just picks up and highlights the edges of her curves in a super subtle way... Or get up close to the model, or some crazy compositions (rule of thirds ftw). I also think you should try playing around with black paint/goo or something crazy like that. Maybe like a deconstruction series, but instead the model paints herself with gooey black latex paint (not latex wall paint), and get some macros of it dripping. Iunno; that's probably my personal taste creeping in.
...I painted my sweep toast color, after 6 years of shooting on grey. Let's make haste slowly, huh?
That works.
But I just love the variations. High contrast makes me wet. Especially with colors. I no longer paint people with normal skin tones--I think the world would be more fun and less racist if we were random colors of the rainbow. I'd like to be either a shockingly saturated shade of mango yellow or a deep, velvety magenta. You?
High contrast makes me wet.
:choke: Hmm... I have a focusing spotlight.
Oh, yeah, sorry. I'm kind of... REALLY crude. and open. I guess that's why 90% of my friends are male.
P.S. I also get a kick out of your extremely subtle signature...
