I love this pose; I think I probably shoot every model in it at some point or another. Rather than just thinking "huh. cool." though I kept wondering "why?" Over time I've realized that it's actually several different things going on at once. One is the curve of her (or anyone else in this pose...) thighs, up from her knees to her hips. That just looks great to me. But "why?" I blame evolution.
