I was at a workshop with a bunch of photographers, once, and the topic of online image theft came up. One of the instructors insisted that the best way to protect your artworks from thieves was to put a diagonal watermark down the middle of the image. I feel that's also the best way to ruin a perfectly good photo. Thus, image thieves victimize not only the artist, but the viewer. Anyhow, someone said something like "with a watermark, your ass is protected" - and - whammo - my brain jumped the rails and... here's the result.
Model is I got to shoot with her last saturday and was able to remedy a serious oversight I made in our first shoot: I paid too much attention to her front side.
Lighting - I tried to play a little joke on you guys with this one.
This is a great idea for a photo! And I agree with my full heart with you, I am so obsesed with the detail of the photographs, with the light, contrast, little micro detailed "things" in the photo, the way that the photograph makes my mind look at the particular element that AND, even barely seen, watermark just ruins the whole picture. I actualy ignore all the photos that have watermarks and not even try to look at them, they just makes my angry
Oh, and also the photographers sign itseelg is something that should be carefully put. It can also ruin much.
