Model is Micki (shot in 2005)

This was lit with a big "redneck lightbank" consisting of 3 softboxes all jammed up against eachother into a slightly curved wall. The backdrop is one of the amvona.com velour sweeps - it's got a beautiful finish but they do not hold up for more than one or two shoots.

That picture is so revealing! It reminded me a bit of "The Bodies" exhibition (people bodies cut open so that public can see what it is like). It is hard to go further in anatomy studies without really cutting skin open: good pose and trimmed body. =)
