OK, OK... I got a PM from someone who pointed out that I have been (in his opinion) paying insufficient homage to that particular part of a woman that follows her everywhere she goes... So we interrupt our scheduled programming to bring you this close-up of Rael C.
This was lit with a single gridded spotlight bouncing off the all and back using a sheet of foam-core set as a reflector to slightly fill the shadows. It's a fair example of one of the ways you can get a lot of mileage out of a single light-source.
Post-work on this was pretty severe. There's a blur/soft-light layer, then a blur/darken layer with the highlit points of her butt-cheek erased out to keep the skin texture sharp, followed by mono conversion in channel mixer, levels, and a curve adjustment layer with a circular gradient fill to darken the edges of the frame. I probably shouldn't say this, but I will - I did virtually no touch-up on her skin and there's no use of liquify filter. This really is what her butt looks like except that in real life it's in color!
