With Yarrow's sculpted body, I thought I'd do some of my usual arty kind of draped in white veil (my infamous $10 WAL-MART curtain) shots. So, there I was, explaining to Yarrow that I wanted her to kinda dance around and be all girly and classically curvy and - well - you could tell it just wasn't grabbing her enthusiasm.
Yes, that was the color of her hair that day.
Lighting is large octodome to camera right, about 70 degrees, with a small gridded spotlight aimed at the backdrop.
This picture was in the sidebar while I was looking at your Chernobyl picture - the one with the gas masks. Alone, this is a beautiful image, of course. I love the red hair against the muted colors. Side by side with the still post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the Chernobyl picture, the look in her eyes, the pallor of her skin and vibrancy of her hair create a whole other sense.
