I don't think all those people who are saying that they can't not do it are honest with themselves. It's impossible to realize what you can't not do.

I do it because I strive for something. I don't know what though.

Because I am an accountant by day and I need something to channel my creative energy into!! My stuff is not technically proficient nor artistically sound but it is a release for me and I am learning! (also, I am mad!)

Other (explain) I'm a pervert.

It gives me my own personal escape, that is why I love Surrealism so much, and Expressionism. It bends and twists reality.

I do not think that ~Misa-Cupcake has any artistic bones in her body. If she did, I do not think that she would have left the comment she did. (Honestly, she makes me ashamed to like Death Note. )

I'm an artist for every reason you see above, except that I refuse to do it for a living. It's one of the reasons I refuse commissions. I draw for me because other peoples' opinions are wrong about how I should go about drawing something.

Other: Some people live and breathe art. I do not. I used to be able to draw until severe carpal tunnel ruined my writing hand. I love interaction with other artists, but most tend to be too flaky for me and I end up introverted all over again. Graphic design (major) gives me a sense of accomplishment, but will it be able to pay the bills? (not graduated yet)

I do art because I am able to freely express myself without having to answer to anyone.

I'm not at all good at any form of art. People may argue that there's no such thing as someone who can't draw, well my response to that is; "I'm a person whom has a low quality of image production".

When I do however is as a passtime.
I do appreciate art however.
